Mark Carson (Slick)  

Vocals / Percussion / Guitar 

Mark,  as our lead singer, enjoys a wide range of music including Rock &  Roll, Southern Rock and Country. When he’s not singing, he can be seen  playing the Congas or strumming an acoustic guitar. As a performer, he  mostly enjoys playing songs that make people want to dance. Other  hobbies include, hunting, fishing, golf, bowling and boating. As a  family man, he enjoys spending time with his wife, two kids and three  Grandkids. Rock on! 

MIKE FERRAND (Clutch)

Guitar / Vocals

Mike  brings his edgy guitar sound to the Jamokes with influences ranging  from John Mayer, David Gilmour and Jeff Beck.  Early playing experiences  range from a seminal County / Punk band with Tom Burdette to the  award-winning ‘Down Home’ original bluegrass band.  More recently, Mike  has joined classic rock bands ‘Relic’ and ‘The NoBS’ here in El Dorado  county.  Always pushing creative boundaries he writes and records  original music.

Mo Divine, rock god extraordinaire.   Opened for the Sec Pistols in 1979 and has kept himself out of trouble since learning keyboards.  Mike has played with a verity of local bands  and a wide verity of talented musicians.

Primarily playing rhythm guitar, with  occasional finger-style forays, and an original Jamoke.   Proud of  lovely bride, four awesome kids, a terrific son-in-law and a magical  granddaughter! Has played with Moon on Blue, Sunset Sedation, The  UnImpeachables, and Bad Boys of Noise.    Fortunately, little historical  record exists.Grew up playing baseball, golf, fishing and hunting;  gave up fishing and hunting due to lack of ability.  The only Texan in the Jamokes and a direct descendant of David Crockett.

Scott's interest in music began at age  14 when his parents took him to see Ray Charles and BB King.  He knew  then that music is what he wanted to do.  His first paying gig was at  age 18 as a singing busboy in Westwood LA.  He later toured Europe with  the U.C. Davis Chamber Choir as a featured soloist.   Back in David,  Scott began playing guitar and bass and signing in local bands.  It was  during this time that he met Steve, the Jamokes drummer.  Before the  Jamokes found him he had played most recently in Sacramento with the  Night-crawlers, Evil Olive and the Martini's

The Jamokes are excited to introduce the latest addition to our band. Our drummer, Louis (Mr IPlayWithSticks). 

With several decades experience playing everything from smooth jazz, pop, rock, disco, soul, and modern country, Louis has been an active member of the music community playing just about every city and venue in Northern and Central California. From large concerts in the park, theatre shows, and private events, all the way to clubs and small intimate parties, Louis thrives on seeing people smiling, dancing, singing along, and just having a great time. 'Mr. iPlayWithSticks' has been his stage moniker for 30 plus years and how most people recognize him on social media. But to us, he's 'Louie', as in the titles of two famous songs. Playing both drums and percussion, Louis keeps impeccable time, along with adding sonic textures and whimsical sounds to add to the bands overall palette.
